What the Poker Room Actually Looks Like
The Caesars Windsor poker room is inside the main resort at 377 Riverside Drive East in Windsor, Ontario. You walk into a dedicated space with 14 tables, a structured layout, and staff used to dealing with both regulars and people just in for a night. It is tied into the larger Caesars Entertainment network, so eligible poker play can earn Caesars Rewards that connect with the rest of your account, which helps if you already use that program elsewhere.
On the felt, the confirmed poker variants at Caesars Windsor include Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Seven Card Stud, Mississippi Stud, Caribbean Stud, Let It Ride, Four Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, and Pai Gow Poker. For a regional property, that mix of games usually surprises people who expect only basic Hold’em.
Tournaments are also part of the regular offering, with World Series of Poker branding used in Caesars Windsor promotions. Structures and dates do shift, sometimes faster than blogs can keep up. For accurate buy-ins, blind levels, or the next series on the calendar, the safest move is to go straight to caesars.com/caesars-windsor or call 1-800-991-7777. Third-party listings get out of date quickly and are not something to fully trust.
The broader casino floor around the poker area adds some scale to what you are walking into. There are over 2,000 slot machines, more than 80 table games, plus what is noted as the only live craps game in Ontario. Tourism sources list the casino as operating 24/7, but that does not automatically mean the poker room keeps identical hours. If you are driving in primarily for poker, it is smart to confirm poker room times with the property before setting off.
Getting to Caesars Online Casino in Ontario
For online play in Ontario, everything runs through the Ontario-facing Caesars platform, not a separate “Caesars Windsor online” site. The official entry point in Canada for real-money casino and sportsbook play under the Caesars name is caesars.com/sportsbook-and-casino/on/. That is the place Ontario residents use when they want to connect their online activity to the same Caesars brand they may know from Windsor.
Creating an account on this Ontario platform involves the usual checks. You provide details for age verification and allow the system to confirm that you are physically in Ontario. Only then do real-money features open up, as this is required by iGaming Ontario rules and applies to all regulated operators in the province, not only Caesars.
| Feature | Land-Based Poker Room | Caesars Ontario Online Platform |
|---|---|---|
| Location | 377 Riverside Drive East, Windsor, ON | Online - Ontario residents only |
| Poker variants | 9+ confirmed variants | Video poker and table game formats |
| Tournaments | Yes - WSOP-branded events | Check current Ontario platform schedule |
| Caesars Rewards | Yes | Check Ontario platform terms |
| Operating hours | 24/7 (confirm with property) | Available per Ontario platform schedule |
| Contact | 1-800-991-7777 | Via caesars.com/sportsbook-and-casino/on/ |
One practical point that saves headaches later: when you sign up on a new casino platform, it is better to complete all identity checks before sending a deposit. Most sites will not release withdrawals until verification is done, and sorting that out after a win can feel like an unnecessary delay.
There is also a Caesars Sportsbook retail outlet at Caesars Windsor itself. You get in-person kiosks, the ability to use mobile deposit while on-site, and a direct link to the Ontario online sportsbook. That way, activity during a Windsor visit and on your Ontario account can line up and work together instead of feeling like completely separate setups.
How to Set Up an Account on the Ontario Platform
For someone new to the Ontario Caesars platform, the process usually goes in this order:
- Go to caesars.com/sportsbook-and-casino/on/ using your browser.
- On the Ontario page, choose the option to open a new account.
- Enter your personal information: full name, date of birth, and an Ontario address.
- Follow the prompts for age and identity checks, which are mandatory under Ontario iGaming regulations.
- When asked, allow the platform to confirm you are located inside Ontario.
- After approval, head to the cashier area and pick a deposit method that suits you.
- Once funds are in, move into the casino or poker-related sections of the site.
- Select a title from the listed categories, such as table games, live dealer, or video poker.
If you already have an account, you simply return to the same URL, click sign-in, and enter your email and password. If you have two-step verification set, you handle that as well. Inside the account dashboard is where you check your Caesars Rewards balance or jump back into games you were playing earlier.
If you hit a problem at login, the password reset and account recovery links are right on that sign-in screen. For issues that need more than an automated reset, support contact details are provided inside the help section on the Ontario site so you can reach out directly.
